When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with you above the storm
Father, you are king over the flood
I will be still and know you are God
It's amazing how you start to realize how much something means to you. Something that you're so passionate about that you will go all out and try your very best to do well in it. Team talk after training today made me see how the seniors have become so attached to the team. How they aren't afraid to show their innermost emotions in front of the whole team, not afraid to share their weaknesses for all to learn from. "Don't think too much about it, just keep rowing" More often than not, we are pressured by ourselves. Our own expectations and targets, however, I guess we should really to block out all of those thoughts and just do the very best that we can. No matter what the outcome may be (:
Training today was POWER + GG. hahaha! Rowed about 6km with Shauna (capped twice in less than 1min haha!) I finally got my strokes right! omg, happy happy me! haha! Jiaolian said that now my strokes looked pretty. I suppose that's a compliment right? haha! ;) Then got on the K2 with debb again! Kinda "pang seh-ed" her the last training session when jiaolian asked me to clock milleage with the T1. We only capped 4 times! OMG. We were much more stable today for some reason, although the wind was threatening to topple us over! HIGH FIVE WOMAN! (: Rowing was fun and all, but the "after training programme" was erm..... exciting. Ran up and down monkey slope 6 times *faints. Can't understand how I managed to survive that, but I did! YESSS! hahaha!
ahhh tired tired tired. Ohyes, I collected my blood test results today. Confirmed that I have fragile capillaries. Nothing's seriously wrong with me, just that I have a low blood and platelet count. Don't know what's that, but apparently I should be okay after taking a whole month's worth of iron pills. HMMM. So thank you everyone for your prayers! I'm in good working condition! (: hahaha!
